Trees are essential for life on Earth: they give us oxygen, they participate in cooling down the planet and they clean the soil.
With the amount of trees we kill by year for our needs, we act like we have an endless supply of resources. Infinitree will literally and figuratively
illustrate this behaviour. A tree, surrounded by mirrors, gives the illusion that we have more trees than we thought. Our team wishes to lead people to
reflect on their actions by seeing this virtual forest. All the senses will be exploited to create an immersive experience and to emphasize the illusion of
a real forest. In comparison to this virtual forest created by mirrors, participants will be able to use a VR headset and engage with a different kind of virtual
forest.
I was responsible for coding most of the VR component and for assembling all the 3D assets in Unity. We built the structure as a team.
